| Immer gut, mal zu schauen, was die Institutionellen so machen...: Dow Jones Business News FMR Corp Increases Brocade Communications, Genesis Micro Stakes Monday February 10, 11:06 am ET WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- FMR Corp. , the parent company of the Fidelity family of mutual funds, disclosed changes to several investment holdings Monday, including an increase of its stake in Brocade Communications Corp. to 13.87% from 7.84%. ADVERTISEMENT In an amended Schedule 13G filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, FMR said it held 35.7 million Brocade shares Jan. 31, compared with 18.3 million shares on June 30. FMR's stake in Genesis Microchip Inc. (NasdaqNM:GNSS - News) more than doubled to a 10.32% stake, or 3.2 million shares, at Jan. 31, compared with 4.89%, or 1 million shares, as of Nov. 30. FMR said it held an 11.52% stake Jan. 31 in Mantech International Corp. (NasdaqNM:MANT - News) , or 1.8 million shares. FMR's stake in Oak Technology Inc. (NasdaqNM:OAKT - News) declined to 3.2%, or 1.8 million shares, on Jan. 31, from 9.99%, or 5.5 million shares, at the end of 2001, according to a filing. Oak Technology provides embedded software and semiconductors to original equipment manufacturers. FMR's holdings in RCM Technologies Inc. (NasdaqNM:RCMT - News) rose to 10%, or 1.1 million shares, Jan. 31 from 9.99%, or 1 million shares at the end of 2001. RCM provides information technology and professional engineering to corporations and governments. FMR disclosed all its holdings on Schedule 13Gs, which denote a passive investment stake of at least 5% in a company. Filers aren't required to provide a reason for any changes in stake and aren't required to detail any transactions. A disclosure is required, however, when the stake falls below 5%. In a separate Schedule 13G filed Monday, FMR reported raising its holdings in Petco Animal Supplies Inc. (NasdaqNM:PETC - News) to a 10.81% stake. On Jan. 31, FMR beneficially owned 6.2 million Petco Animal Supplies common shares, according to the filing. Previously, FMR reported owning 1.8 million Petco Animal Supplies shares for a 3.1% stake Sept. 30, 2002, according to a Form 13F. Petco Animal Supplies is a pet supply specialty retailer. FMR also raised its holdings in bakery cafe chain Panera Bread Co. (NasdaqNM:PNRA - News) to a 10.1% stake, representing beneficial ownership of 2.73 million Class A common shares Jan. 31, a filing said Monday. Previously, FMR reported owning 1.3 million Panera Bread shares for a 4.81% stake on Sept. 30, 2002, according to a Form 13F. FMR cut its holdings in J. Jill Group Inc. (NasdaqNM:JILL - News) to a 4.4% stake as of Jan. 31, according to a Monday filing. The money manager reported beneficial ownership of 854,699 common shares. Previously, FMR reported owning 1.95 million J. Jill Group common shares for a 10% stake Sept. 30, 2002, according to a Form 13F. J. Jill Group is a direct marketer of women's apparel and accessories. FMR lowered its stake in Ask Jeeves Inc. (NasdaqNM:ASKJ - News) to less than 1%, according to the filings Monday. FMR held a 0.59% stake, or 246,200 Ask Jeeves shares, on Jan. 31, compared with a 9.9% stake, or 4.11 million shares, on Sept. 30, 2002. Ask Jeeves offers natural-language, question-answering services for consumers and companies online. FMR's holdings in Radware Ltd. (NasdaqNM:RDWR - News) increased to 10.67%, or 1.8 million shares, on Jan. 31 from 5.94%, or 950,750 shares, on June 30, 2002. Radware provides hardware and software that helps customers manage Internet traffic. FMR held a 3.84% stake in StorageNetworks Inc. (NasdaqNM:STOR - News) , or 3.8 million shares, on Jan. 31, compared with a 11.2% stake, or 11 million shares, on July 31, 2002. StorageNetworks provides storage services. FMR's holdings in Terayon Communication Systems Inc. (NasdaqNM:TERN - News) increased to 11.7% , or 8.6 million shares, on Jan. 31 from 8.81%, or 6.41 million shares, on Sept. 30, 2002. Terayon provides broadband data access and distribution network systems for the satellite and cable TV markets. FMR's stake in Veridian Corp. (NYSE:VNX - News) more than doubled to 11.2%, or 3.7 million shares, on Jan. 31. The shareholder last reported having a 4.83% stake, or 1.6 million shares, on Sept. 30, 2002. Veridian provides information technology products and services including network security, systems engineering and data mining. FMR's stake in AudioCodes Ltd. increased to 10.3%, or 3.8 million shares, on Jan. 31 from 7.06%, or 2.82 million shares, as of June 30, 2002. AudioCodes provides enabling technologies and products for voice over packet networks. FMR held a 12.4% stake in Avid Technology Inc. (NasdaqNM:AVID - News) , or 3.3 million shares, at Jan. 31. The filing indicated it was an amendment, but FMR's previous disclosure couldn't immediately be located. Avid Technology provides software, hardware and other technology for storing, capturing, editing and distributing digital media. FMR's stake in Applied Extrusion Technologies Inc. (NasdaqNM:AETC - News) decreased to 2.4%, with beneficial ownership of 298,100 common shares on Jan. 31.
